Luke & Jamie Ulrich
After being the Children’s Pastors at Elston for several years, God has called Luke and Jamie, to take the Gospel of Christ and the hope of His saving grace to a people group in Malawi, Africa that is currently unreached (does not have a significant movement of Christ). He has asked them to use their gifts to work with and disciple children, raising up a hope-filled generation devoted to Christ and actively sharing their faith and hope with others. Though they alone are not able to accomplish this task, they know that through the partnership of individuals, families, and church bodies, Christ will work through all of us together to accomplish His task. To keep up with what is going on with them please feel free to see them here: https://hoperisestogether.wordpress.com/ If you would like to financially partner with The Ulrichs, please visit this website.
Dennis & Julie Runner
Dennis and Julie Runner are local missionaries who attend here at EFC. God has led their family to Purdue University to minister to the International student population through the North American Mission Board as self-funded Mission Service Corps missionaries. Along with The Becks, The Runners started Launch Campus Ministry. They minister to all types of international students from all over the world. They work with students from all of the major religions. Sharing Jesus with them starts at different points depending on each student. They minister to them by being a family for them. Purdue continues to remain in the top 3 for International student populations in the U.S for public institutions. Their commission and calling is to make disciples and mobilize the Church to reach these students.
If you would like more information or would like to financially partner with them then please check them out at their Family Website, or their Ministry/Student Website.
Ben & Nettie Beck
Ben & Nettie lead Launch Campus Ministry. The Beck’s have served for 15 years here at Purdue as Missionaries with the North American Mission Board. Statistics show that 70% of people between the ages of 18-24 walk away from church and only 30% ever return. The Beck’s vision is to equip students to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. They meet students wherever they are on their spiritual journey, from never hearing of Jesus Christ, to having been a Christian for many years. They help students to move closer to God one step at a time. Ben & Nettie along with their two daughters Michaela & Breanna raise support from churches and individuals through Mission Service Corps. You can make a difference for Christ at Purdue and around the world by partnering with them, to reach the lost for Christ and disciple young Christians to make their faith their own. Seth & Darla Curtis
We are Seth and Darla Curtis, and we serve God in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Life is never dull with three energetic boys around – Corban, Lael, and Asher do a great job of entertaining Arabella, our adopted little girl. We are church-planting missionaries, and have ministered in Congo since 2000 – first in Kinshasa, the capital; and later, in Lubumbashi, Congo’s second largest city. Our sending church is Faith Church in Lafayette, IN, and our service agency is Faith Global Missions. We are privileged to partner with Elston Family Church, as together we respond to God’s task for us to lead soul’s to Christ, train the next generation of Christ-servants, and strengthen the church in this region of Africa. New Life Church is the chuch-plant where Seth is currently pastoring – this local church ministry has some very aggressive goals for the next few years as they strive to to set the pace for gospel ministry in their city.
