What is Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery is a recovery program dedicated to giving freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. More specifically, CR is based around the “8 Recovery Principles” or the principles for happiness Jesus preached at The Sermon on the Mount.
Celebrate Recovery meets at Elston Family Church every Friday night. You do not need to be a member of EFC to attend. There is no pre-registration or sign up necessary. CR is based on volunteer attendance; therefore you may choose to participate in all that is offered or simply attend the main program from 7-9pm.
6:30-7pm Snacks – donations accepted, but not necessary
7-8pm General Session- live worship band and teaching/personal testimony
8-9pm Open Share- small gender specific groups, designed with guidelines
for safe sharing. (Group leaders may sign court cards after the meeting is over)
Celebration Place is offered for children from 7-9pm. Celebration Place is a complementary children’s program to CR for kindergarten-6th grade. So while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids discover the same truths in age appropriate ways! *(Temporarily Suspended)
The Landing is offered for 7th-12th grade students. The Landing is a safe, healing place where teenagers learn to live a freer, healthier, and more God-centered life. *(Temporarily Suspended)
